Due to its favourable thermal resistance of approx. 0.10 to 0.14 m²K/W, T&W parquet is suitable for installation with warm water underfloor heating if this is done properly and special installation instructions are taken into account.

The T&W parquet floors are approved for a maximum surface temperature of 29 °C. Due to physiological considerations, however, it is expressly recommended that a surface temperature of 25 °C is not exceeded.

Please note the specific instructions for each wood type in our technical data sheets. Due to the technological and hygroscopic properties of the wood, small gaps may arise between the parquet elements during the heating period. These are unavoidable in floor coverings made of wood where warm water underfloor heating is used and must be tolerated.
